Are Your Dreams Adrift?
Dreams – those elusive imaginings within our minds but not in our reality; near our grasp but just out of reach.
How can we turn our dreams into our goals and achievements? What do our dreams and goals even look like? Is there some special magic or unique conditions that make our dreams come true? How do we get there from here? What is in my way? Am I even capable of reaching my dreams and goals?
Pursuing your dreams and goals is an ocean of questions, doubts, challenges, resisting forces, discouragement, failures, and yes - successes that you are capable of achieving. Perhaps a simple list will help get you started:
- Our first home
- Our dream home
- A dependable car
- A new car
- A classy wardrobe
- Just nice, clean clothes
- That dream vacation
- Real residual income
- A free-and-clear college degree
- Debt-free
- More money than month, instead of more month left than money
- The matching bedroom set
- Maybe, for some, just a warm bed to sleep in
- A cozy kitchen
- Or a complete kitchen makeover
- Livingroom and dining room furniture
- Or just a livingroom and dining room instead of living in the car or dining from a dumpster
We all have dreams and goals, but some have drifted out to sea, never to be seen again. Some are bobbing around in the ocean of our mind with no way to get from shore to more. How do I reach them? Why are they so elusive? When others seem to have achieved theirs, why haven’t I achieved mine? What am I doing wrong? Can I fix this? Is there still time? What does it mean to achieve a dream?
Don’t despair – you can get there.
My name is Tim Grady, and I am a coach, guide, and mentor. When it comes to dreams and goals, most people fail to reach theirs for the same reasons. Quite simply put – they don’t know how, they don’t have the knowhow, and they are stuck, frustrated, and disappointed. - Follow a guide – stop flailing around trying to find the answers, like wandering through the forest trying to find the path.
